About Our School

About Us

Hope group of schools was established in 1992 in Benin City, when the proprietor came back from Kano as a result of the religious riot that took place in the town in September, 1991.

The school took off in an uncompleted building containing four flats. The landlady of the building died the same year, an unfortunate incident which terminated the occupation of the school in that building.

As  God would have it, a nice man gave part of his land to the school for a leasehold period of five years. The five turned out to be ten years but the school made an outright of the land and it became the property of the school. However, because of the refusal of the man’s family to allow the purchase of the land initially, a search for a land for the permanent site of the school was made and the present land accommodating the school was purchased.

Formal school activities started in the permanent site on 15th September, 2003. To be candid, all thanks and glory goes to God for the growth and success recorded by the school since inception. The standard maintained at Hope Group of Schools is well spoken about in the community where the school is located and even beyond.

The graduates produced in Hope Group of Schools are given solid educational foundation that can stand the test of time. Many Ex-students of the school are in different tertiary institutions where they are studying various courses. Some have already graduated from the tertiary institutions.

To God be the glory. At Hope Group of Schools, We ensure that all hands are on deck to give the pupils and students’ holistic training that will make them to excel in all areas of their life endeavor in the future
